The Movie: Clips!!

I just stumbled my way into two black and white clips from the upcoming movie available Here and Here. I'm not sure if there is an audio problem, or if it is a live reading, but you get the point either way. You can thank Britass.com. I am interested to see how they go about making this. When it comes to 20 minute episodes jumping to 90 minutes, it changes the format quite a bit, but it all depends on the creativity of the writers of how they use that time. For instance, "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut." I thought it matched their tv format quite well, as it was pretty much just an 80 minute episode. They often have 2 part episodes so it's nothing new to them. On the other end, you have "Stewie: The Untold Story," which fell short of its goal. It just seemed hard for the writers to make that transition into the feature film business. Don't get me wrong, I liked the film, but an 80 minute movie is no place for the non-stop nonsense Family Guy consistently gives us.
The Simpsons have only ventured into the extended episode field once, and when they did it was highly regarded. It is the only two part episode to date, and still seen as one of the best by many fans, partly due to the fact that it was a summer cliffhanger. So in my mind the writers are 1 for 1, and therefore 100% likely to produce a masterpiece. :-)
